Climate change

Climate change is widely recognized as the major environmental problem facing the globe. The Santa Clara Valley Water District has in place a formal framework to implement activities to adapt and offset climate change.

This framework includes management and subject experts who will help the water district and its partners respond to climate change impacts on district operations and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
